I don't have one and don't want one. I think for me he would be one of those imaginary friends that socially disturbed individuals have. That is for me, not others who want to believe in a name written down on a piece of paper. I don't judge those who believe in a splotch of ink on paper. That is their right. HOWEVER, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT BELIEVE IN A SPLOTCH OF INK ON PAPER! DON'T STEP ON THAT RIGHT!

I took the Bible and began reading it from cover to cover and ended with Job. By doing that, I quit believing in the god of the Bible. I didn't even finish before I began seeing how horrible that god is.
I live by pagan moral standards that require me to do no harm to myself or others and always work good toward all. That is the golden rule Wiccan style. It's the same principle. I don't need a Bible to know to do good and live a moral life. Good morals is not just "don't sleep with anyone before you marry them." It's so much more. I also don't need the Bible's scare tactics in order to be good. I believe that we already have a moral system within us. We just need to know it's there to use it.

I've had PTSD due to an armed robbery since 2004 and have had dreams of every possible way that I could die by being murdered. I've invisioned it all. Never by suicide, however, and never natural. I've had two vivid premonitions before, and they did absolutely come true, but none of my dreams so far have. I'm still here.
By they way, that is what started my exit out of the org. The "brothers" couldn't be bothered by my petty problems. They couldn't even be bothered to take out 5 fu.king minutes of their "valuable" time to comfort me. I vowed to be there whenever anyone needs to talk. I will not be like them.

Actually, I was almost murdered in 2004, so I would say that I might die by someone blowing my brains out. I don't worry so much about that anymore.

If the light keeps getting brighter, did early christians have it wrong?

new 'truths' replacing old 'truths'.. but what i have been thinking about recently, albeit 12 years too late, is that if that light has been getting brighter over the years, surely centruries ago the early christians got it wrong!!!
well they did if we follow that line of thinking.

I hate it how they always say old light and new light as if the old light is different, some how. If they are going to go by the Bible, they are supposed to say brighter light, not new light. New and old light is not in the Bible.
